🔍 Role Overview:
Dhruva Space is seeking a Senior Associate / Tech Lead (Firmware & Software Engineering) to lead the design, development, and integration of embedded systems for next-generation space missions. This role requires both technical depth and leadership skills to manage firmware projects from concept to completion in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
🧠 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of embedded engineers; conduct performance reviews and foster professional growth.
- Oversee project deliverables including timelines, budgets, and team resources.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and technical architecture.
- Develop firmware using Embedded C/C++ for microcontroller-based applications.
- Work on bare-metal, RTOS, and Linux platforms for system-level development.
- Build and manage cloud-based infrastructure using AWS or similar platforms.
- Write Python scripts for automation, testing, and development tools.
- Interface with FPGAs for signal processing and high-performance computing.
- Manage version control (GIT) and project tracking tools (Jira).
- Debug complex hardware-software integration issues.
✅ Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in embedded firmware/software development.
- Proven track record in technical leadership roles.
- Expert in Embedded C/C++, Python, and firmware architecture.
- Experience with microcontrollers, SoCs, and FPGAs.
- Familiar with cloud platforms (especially AWS) and DevOps workflows.
- Comfortable working in bare-metal, RTOS, and Linux environments.
- Strong with GIT, Jira, and agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
