📋 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- MBBS degree (allopathic system) from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- Postgraduate degree in General Medicine is also acceptable.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a medical practitioner in a hospital or clinic.
Other Requirements
- Working knowledge of computers/laptops for online dispensary work.
- Residence or dispensary should preferably be within 3–5 km radius from either dispensary location.
⏱️ Duty Hours & Remuneration

💡 ₹1000/month may be treated as conveyance expense from total remuneration.
📄 Contract Details
- Initial engagement for 5 years, extendable in blocks of 5 years up to 70 years of age.
- From age 70 to 75, annual renewal based on performance & medical fitness.
- One-month notice period required for termination by either side.
📝 Duties of BMO
Some of the duties include:
- Provide consultation to NABARD staff and their dependents
- Administer injections, dressings, and issue prescriptions/credit slips
- Guide hospitalisation and referrals
- Review medical claims and conduct home visits if needed
- Maintain confidentiality and attend emergencies
- Stay updated with medical guidelines issued by NABARD
